Provided here are a number of New England networking groups, with descriptions and a link to their url if they have a website.

RING - Rhode Island Networking Group - A growing not-for-profit organization created  when WIND stopped meeting in Rhode Island. One of the goals RING has set for itself is to attract employed professionals to attend as well.  By offering more diverse subject matter with guest speakers presenting the latest trends in job transitioning, career searches and techniques, plus hot issues like starting a business, financial planning, e-marketing, branding, and consulting, among others, another goal is to attract local business owners and provide even greater opportunities to network with local companies.    $10 per meeting.

WIND - Wednesday Is Networking Day - A large group in MA with meetings in four locations: WIND/North, WIND/South, WIND/East and WIND/West. The satellite group, WIND/Rhode Island was abandoned in favor of dedicating two tables every other Thursday at the WIND South location in Foxboro, MA. $15 initial meeting, $10 per meeting thereafter.

495 NSG - A new group. Seems very promising and is focused on the high tech beltway of Boston.$10 sign-up, $10 per month, first visit free.

Monday Networking group - New group headed up by Mark Steiner in Needham. $5 per meeting.

Boston Area Networking Group - The Boston Area Networking Group (BANG) is a group of business professionals from the Boston area who are seeking a new job opportunity. Meet once a month $2-$3 donation.
